Our House
May 1st, 2008Our house is an almost 100 year old 3 story plus partially finished basement. We’ve got 3 refrigerators, a chest freezer, 2 electric water heaters, 1 dishwasher, 1 clothes washer, 1 electric clothes drier, several TV’s and Tivos, game systems, dvd players, and BUNCH of computers.
We heat the house with oil radiators and cool our house with window air conditioners, window fans and floor fans.
There are a LOT of stairs in the house 3 flights from basment to the top.
We don’t have much in the way of additional insulation but the walls are thick.
